Fock Space Representations and Crystal Bases for Affine Lie algebras

Using the Fock space representation for Uq([^\mathfraksl](n)), Jimbo, Misra, Miwa and Okado gave a description of the crystal base of an irreducible highest weight module of this algebra as sequences of coloured Young diagrams. In this talk, we will discuss the Fock Space Representations and generalized coloured Young diagrams describing the crystal bases of the irreducible highest weight modules for other Affine Lie algebras. We will also mention some applications of these descriptions.
