Complex dynamics - Julia and Fatou sets

In the first section, starting with a short account of Montel's theorem we explain how important is the Fundamental Normality Test in the Complex Dynamics. Then the nature of the discrete dynamical systems generated by meromorphic mappings on the Riemann surface is discussed in the second section. The Julia and Fatou sets and a number of properties characterizing a Julia set is covered quickly in the third section. Our main interest in this paper is the local geometry of the Julia and Fatou sets, which is given in the last section of this paper.
