The object of this work is the study of the asymptotic behavior when t tends towards infinite of the solution of a class of equations of the form (du/dt)+A(u)+f(u)=0, where A is a linear operator not limited, f(u) is a nonlinear operator. We show that if the initial solution is no null, the solution is exactly exponential when t tends towards infinite, and the rate of decrease is characterized by an element of spectrum of operator A.
