Smooth solutions of iterative functional differential eqautions

Iterative functional differential equations are equations involving derivatives and iterates of the unknown function. Over the past fifty years, they have attracted the attention of many people and qualitative properties of such eqautions have been reported. In particular, there are now a number of existence results for smooth solutions of these eqautions. In this talk, we present some of these results and explain the techniques that are involved in their derivations.
