A methodology for mapping the hazard of landslide is described. The proposal takes into consideration geometric factors and geotechnical parameters deduced from direct investigation and geophysical survey.

Particularly, nature of soil, cohesion, steepness, water saturation, internal friction angle have been taken in account together with geometrical feature and water level were deduced from high resolution seismic survey and electrical survey, to determine the safety factors of small volume. From the spatial distribution of safety factors, a map of landslide hazard can be plotted.

This methodological sequence has been adopted for studying of landslide hazard of morainic slope “El Fener” (Andorra La Vella). The hazard map could be utised in the town plannig.
