Conformal mappings for regions bounded by arbitrary smooth curves
by
Anders Andersson
Vaxjo University
A function that approximates the function that conformally maps the upper complex
halfplane onto a region bounded by an arbitrary smooth curve is constructed.
The resulting function maps the upper halfplane onto a region bounded by a curve
that is continously differentiable, that passes (approximately) through a finite number of points
on the model curve, and has the same direction (exactly) as the model curve in these
points.
