Semiparametric accelerated failure time model

The semiparametric accelerated failure time (AFT) model relates the logarithm of the failure time linearly to the covariates while leaving the error distribution unspecified. In this talk, I will present some new estimation and inference methods for AFT model for right censored data based on rank method, the least-squares principle and M-estimation method. Extensions to marginal models for multivariate failure time data will also be discussed.
