On the volume conjecture for the colored Jones invariant

In this talk, I explain the geometric structre related to the colored Jones invariant, and show the correspondence of the hyperbolicity equation and the equation of the suddle points for the limit of the invariant. This talk is based on the works of Y. Yokota and K. Ohnuki.
