Bound sets method for differential inclusions
by
Irene Benedetti
University of Modena and Reggio Emilia

The talk deals with the bound sets approach for a Floquet boundary problem for differential inclusions in Banach spaces.

More precisely a semilinear differential inclusion is considered, where the linear part is given by a family of linear operators generating an evolution operator and the nonlinear part is given by a multimap.

Existence results, obtained via topological methods, are presented.

In particular sufficient conditions to have the existence of a bound set are given, pointing out the difference between the Caratheodory case and the upper semicontinuous case, that is the case when the multimap that gives the nonlinearity part of the inclusion is a Caratheodory, or a globally upper semicontinuous multimap.
