Multiple periodic solutions for bounded perturbations of a f-Laplacian

The existence, non-existence and multiplicity of solutions to periodic boundary value problems
(f(u'))'+ g(u) = e(t) + s,     u(0)-u(T)=0=u'(0)-u'(T),
is discussed, where f:(-a, a)→R or f:R → (-a, a) is an increasing homeomorphism such that f(0)=0 and 0 < a ≤ ∞. The nonlinear term g is assumed to be bounded, positive and g(±∞)=0. The results improve in various directions earlier ones of J.R. Ward.
