Approximation by analytic matrix functions in Lp

I am going to speak about recent results obtained jointly with L. Baratchart and F. Nazarov on approximation in Lp of matrix functions on the unit circle by analytic matrix functions. We have obtained quite unexpected results that are quite different from the results in the case of approximation in L∞.
