A Discrete 3-dimensional stirring model

We have formulated a discrete 3-dimensional stirring model which we believe mimics the behavior of a typical flow arising from stirring in a tank. We hope to show that the behaviors and structures observed in such stirred tanks arise naturally from iteration of our model. While this investigation has just begun, we have some preliminary numerical and rigorous results.
