This paper presents a new way of improving dc to dc converter performance using fuzzy logic control. Using numerical simulations in Matlab/Simulink we notice that by changing the slope of the triangular membership function we influence the performance of the dc to dc converter. Using simulations we observe that in order to change the fuzzy error we can increase the slope of the triangular membership functions which significantly reduces the initial current of the controlled converters and eliminates the oscillation present in the output voltage.
