The evaluation of divergence and flutter clearance for fighter aircrafts with wings hosting stores is a major aeronautical engineering task. From the modeling point of view, in the aeroelastic governing equations the terms due to maneuvering conditions have unveil the significant influence of the maneuver on the dynamic response and instability of wings and stores. Consequently, for a reliable analysis of aircraft wings flutter, a refined simulation model accounting for maneuver effects has to be developed. In this study the effect of rolling, one of the most popular maneuvers, on flutter speeds of a swept cantilever wing with external store is considered. The results of flutter analyses without considering rolling effects are validated with the published results and excellent agreement is observed. The results of numerical simulation accounting for the effects of the rolling angular velocity, store mass and sweep angle on the divergence and flutter speed are presented. Results are indicative of the significant influence of rolling maneuver on the stability region.
