Strategic Positioning in Game Theory

We study a duopolistic competition model inspired by Hotelling (1929). Product space is considered to be one- or more dimensional. Consumers are (not necessarily uniformly) distributed in the product space. A wide family of utility functions is used so that the Hotelling's original model can be regarded as a special case of our framework. Criteria for existence of equilibria in the price competition are formulated.
