An analytical solution to one-dimensional heat conduction problem with time-dependent thermal flux, as the boundary condition, using Duhamel`s theorem has been developed. Results have been evaluated for drastic changes in thermal flux over first time steps. An Analytical auxiliary method has been introduced to avoid inconsistent results due to sudden changes in thermal flux over first time steps. Finally temperature distributions resulting from using Duhamel`s theorem and auxiliary method were compared and Duhamel`s theorem error was estimated.
