Strong shift equivalence over abelian group rings

The talk covers applications of strong shift equivalence over rings, interpretations of strong shift equivalence in terms of nilpotent extensions of modules, the importance of nilpotent modules to the general case and simplifications that occur for them, special features of the group ring situation, examples, and touches on recent work of Mike Boyle and Jack Wagoner.
