On local uniform continuity and characterizations

More and more in literature uc-ness ( uc-ness means some continuity is uniform) has been riformulated in many different ways a priori far each other. We consider versions of local uc-ness in metric setting obtaining in analogy with the classical case connections with uniform separation properties , comparisons between hypertopologies and function space topologies.
