In this paper we continue earlier investigations into square function inequalities in Ergodic Theory and Harmonic Analysis . We are concerned with square functions for discrete versions of the classical d-dimensional (d >= 1) Calderon-Zygmund singular integral operators. Most of our results transfer to Rd and hence apply to the classical operators, viz., the Hilbert- and Riesz-transforms.
