Unitary interpolants and factorizations of matrix-functions

This is a joint work with R. Alexeev. For an n×n matrix function \Phi in H^\infty+C we study unitary interpolants U of class QC = (H^\infty+C) \cap ([`(H^\infty+C)]), i.e., U is unitary-valued and \Phi-U in H^\infty. We use the method of superoptimal approximations by H^\infty functions and thematic factorizations.
