Recent Developments in Nonlinear PDEs
by
Neil Trudinger
Australian National University

Fully nonlinear partial differential equations are characterized by being nonlinear in the highest order derivatives. In the wake of theoretical breakthroughs, they have received intensive study in the past twenty years. In this talk we glimpse briefly at some of this theory in the context of applications to finance, optimal transport and affine geometry.
