A survey on Catalan's equation

We present the new results obtained on Catalan's equation during the last decade. This includes: upper bounds and lower bounds for exponents, new criteria à la Inkeri, arithmetical properties of exponents, study on relative class-numbers. We shall also discuss which progress can be expected in the next future.
