Numerical experiments with regularized Navier-Stokes equation for high Re-number flows with 2D/3D finite elements

We present a numerical model which is capable to deal with viscous incompressible flows for Re up to 10^5 and provide a good comparison with experimental data. This is not a turbulence model, and no additional equations are used.
