Mass transport by convection and diffusion is studied in an array of a great number of small fixed particles.

We consider that the fluid flow is governed by the Darcy's law. Using the homogenization method , the marcoscopic equations and parameters are obtained, under different hypotheses on the Péclet number. The macroscopic coefficients are computed using finit element method, for several geometries of the solid particles, in two and three dimensional cases.
