Some Quadrature Formulae for Absolutely Continuous Mappings Via Ostrowski Type Inequalities

We point out some n points generalizations for the celebrated integral inequality due to A. Ostrowski (1938) an apply them in obtaining general quadrature rules for the Riemann integral of absolutely continuous mappings whose derivatives belong to the Lebesgue spaces L_p[a,b]. The error analysis in terms of the p-norms of the first derivative is provided. Some extensions for mappings of bounded variation are also suggested.
