On Smoothness of Slow Surfaces in Problems of Chemical Kinetics
by
L.I. Kononenko
Sobolev Institute of Mathematics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 630090, Novosibirsk, Russia

The question is in what cases integral manifolds (from the problems of chemical kinetics) are differentiable manifolds. An analysis of smoothness of slow integral manifolds in zero approximation on small parameter (slow surfaces) is carried out. The argument about piecewise smoothness are illustrated by two examples.
