Groups of Divisibility and rings of generalized power series

This talk will consist of two parts. The first part will be a discussion and update concerning the following problem: "Which lattice-ordered groups are the group of divisibility of some Bezout domain?"

As the discussion will revolve around generalized power series rings, that is, the ring of R-valued functions on a partially-ordered group (S, < ) whose support is artinian and narrow under pointwise addition and polynomial multiplication; the second part will give an account of these rings and show some recent results reagarding Bezout domains.
