Decision Models in Multivariate Process Control
by
Nicolae Barsan-Pipu
CRIsoft Brasov, Romania, Quality Assurance Department

The problem of monitoring simultaneously a great number of process parameters and quality characteristics is of great interest in our days, when computer systems can capture on-line a large amount of data generated by modern and complex industrial processes.

This is a real challenge for the classical models of Statistical Process Control (SPC), which has to be develloped in this direction.

The paper presents some analysis and decision models for the optimization of multivariate processes, in order to achieve a certain level of performance for these processes.
