Homogeneous cartesian products

How homogeneous is a transitive graph? We use the concept of 1-isomorphism to define the intuitive idea of similarly embedded induced subgraphs and ask which isomorphisms between such subgraphs extend to an automorphism of the graph. After reviewing some past work we explore cartesian products.
