A bigroupoid is a bicategory in the sense of Bénabou, in which the 2-cells are strictly invertible and the 1-cells are invertible up to coherent isomorphism.
We introduce a notion of fibration of bigroupoids and show how a 9-term exact sequence can be constructed. Applications to algebra and topology are given.
