Directional entropy in lattice dynamical systems

We introduce a rigorous definition of the topological directional entropy and of the density of topological directional entropy for lattice dynamical systems.
We investigate some of their properties, in particular when the dynamics commutes with spatial translations. In addition, these quantities are computed in weakly coupled map lattices.
