Certain Galois Connections in General Algebras and some Open Problems

There are several kinds of general Galois connections in Universal Algebra. We will concentrate on two of them, namely:

1. connection between the family of all subsets of a non-empty set and the set of mappings defined on subsets of the considered set,
2. connection between the family of all bijections of some set A and family of all subsets of finitary operations on A.

The first of the connections is related to the notions of independencies in general algebra and the second one - to the notion of weak automorphism.
