The cosymmetry phenomena may be a reason for the onset of continuous families of the same type regimes with varying spectrum. The cosymmetry differs from the symmetry where all regimes are identical ones. The cosymmetry occuring in pde's may be destroyed by spatial approximation. We study finite-difference operators preserving the cosymmetry property, for both regular and staggered meshes. The results are applied to two-dimensional filtrational convection problem by analyzing the effect of degeneration caused by cosymmetry destruction.
