Connections between C(X) and C(Y), where Y is a subspace of X
by
A. R. Aliabady
Chamran University, Ahvaz, Iran

Kohls [1] considered some connections between C(X) and C(Y), where Y = X\{x} and x is a nonisolated G_delta point in X. Our aim in this talk is the extension of this consideration by taking Y as a cozero-set (or a z-embedded set) in X and we will obtain some important connections between C(X) and C(Y). Finally, we talk about FMP-points, which are introduced by M. Henriksen and R. G. Wilson [2].
