Subspaces in the space of Vassiliev invariants

The space of Vassiliev invariants of knots forms a Hopf algebra with a natural grading, and an interesting problem is to find its dimension at each level. In this talk, we will broaden this problem to study various subspaces, coming from link polynomials, in the space of Vassiliev invariants.
