In this paper, the second method of Liapunov is used to solve the three-dimensional findpath problem, which is basically the geometric problem of finding a collision-free path for a moving solid object among other moving and fixed solid objects. A Liapunov function is proposed for an n-point system in three-dimensional space. Computer simulations are carried out that clearly show the effectiveness of the proposed Liapunov function and its feedback controllers.
