The Hepatitis Foundation
The Hepatitis Foundation has currently screened around 50,000 clients for both hepatitis B and diabetes. The test that has been used for diabetes is Haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c). An attempt will be made to compare the HbA1c levels of Hepatitis B carriers with that of non-carriers.
