With the use of Visual BasicLlanguage , a small program has been designed for data entry purpose in context of power project appraisal, to have one more module for Risk Master developed by Harvard Institute for International Development , a Microsoft Excel add-in-program that uses Monte-Carlo Simulation technique to apply risk analysis. The module developed is basically based on creating windows for data input user’s friendly prompts. The module has linkages with several sub modules for preparing complete cash flow analysis of a project investment plan based on as many input parameters as one can have and also the life cycle of the project. The cash flow statement is used as a tool for financial planning . The cash flow statement also serves as the basis to judge the profitability of a project.. The discounting investment criteria being considered for financial analysis of projects are Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return .
