Inverse Limits of Real Projective Spaces and the Fixed Point Property
by
Marcus Marsh

We show that each inverse limit on an even dimensional real projective space with homotopically essential bonding mappings has the fixed point property, answering a question of D.Bellamy. A result of C.Hagopian shows that the assumption of essential bonding mappings cannot be extended to surjective bonding mappings.
