Remote-like filters in ccc spaces
by

The background to our topic lies with two kinds of points: remote points and weak P-points. Each are defined by a property of the form that the point is not a limit point (avoids) of any set of a particular type; e.g. nowhere dense for remote and simply countable for weak P-point. These give rise to the notion of a filter (e.g. the neighborhood filter) which avoids a family of sets. It is interesting (when one is stuck) to vary the family of sets to be avoided. We will survey and update some open problems.
