Double Lattice Packings in Euclidean Space
by

Many recent results on volumes of hyperbolic three manifolds have involved specific packings of disks (or other convex regions) on the boundary of a tube in a manifold. If we unwrap the tube boundary, we get what is known as a double lattice packing. We will discuss the density of such a packing.
