Bayesian Analysis of Mixture Models Applications to Animal Nutrition Trials

CAT scans are conducted on livestock during nutrition trials. The resulting grayscale values are thought to be 4, 5 or 6 component mixture models. Bayesian techniques are used to estimate the proportion of each component and the parameters of the accompanying mixture distribution.
