Some recent existence results for nonlinear Schrodinger equations
by

Coauthors: David Costa

We will consider some recent results on nonlinear Schrodinger equations
-\Deltau+V(x)u=g(x, u),        x in RN
where we will always assume that the potential V(x) has a limit at infinity. As for the nonlinear term, we will consider the cases where g(x, u), is either asymptoyically linear or superlinear at infinity and present some recent existence and multiplicity results. Open problems will be discussed as well.
