On Monotonically Orthocompact Spaces

Several properties of neighbornet are studied, and used to discuss monotonically orthocompact spaces. Spaces having a Northerian base of sub-infinite rank turn out to be monotonically orthocompact. An example of a monotonically orthocompact space without ortho-base is given; this answers a question raised by Junnila in the affirmative.
