Asymptotic distribution of eigenvalues for Schrodinger type operators

The aim of this talk is to describe the asymptotic behaviour of the counting function (the number of eigenvalues) for a class of self-adjoint second order elliptic operators with irregular coefficients (e.g. Hölder continuous). We show that the Weyl formula holds with some remainder estimates depending on the regularity of coefficients. In particular the approach we present works without any hypotheses on the critical points.
