Radford-Majid bosonization via Schauenburg equivalence
by

Radford-Majid bosonization plays an important role in quantum group theory with fruitful applications in classification of pointed Hopf algebras. Its elementary realization will be derived by using Schauenburg's equivalence between Yetter-Drinfeld modules and Hopf bimodules. The relation with twists by 2-cocycles (due to Doi) will be discussed. As an application, an elementary approach to the symmetrization lemma (due to Andruskiewitsch and Schneider) of Nichols algebras of Cartan type will be given.
