Uniform embeddability of discrete groups

Uniform embeddability (of a discrete group) in Hilbert space is a geometric notion. Exactness (of a discrete group) is defined in terms of harmonic analysis. Interestingly, exactness is a geometric property, which seems to be closely related to uniform embeddability; in the talk we will describe several results aimed at understanding the relationship between them.
