Finite failure reliability growth model (SRGM) is based on Non-Homogeneous Poisson process, which is a simple and practical mathematical technique to predict the software reliability. In this paper Truncated SRGM is reviewed and Truncated S-Shaped SRGM is proposed. Their parameters are estimated using maximum likelihood estimation technique. The comparison of these two models are made using test data.
