In this talk we give some classification of homogeneous continua that contains an arc. We show that if X is such continuum then either X is a solenoid or X contains arbitrarilly small continua Y for which there exists a subcontinuum Z of Y such that the quotient space Y/Z is homeomorphic to a Cantor fan.
