Exotic homology manifolds in dimension five

Bryant, Ferry, Mio and Weinberger produced examples of non-resolvable homology manifolds in dimensions six and higher in 1993. Recent joint work with Steve Ferry improves epsilon-delta surgery theory enough to construct examples in dimension five.
